On Monday, August 25, 2025, a group of 30 members from Participants of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ) Joint Technical Meeting on Static Apparatus and Rotating Machinery visited the laboratory for an on-site tour. The research meeting itself was held in Akita City from Tuesday, August 26 to Wednesday, August 27, and the visit took place on the preceding day.
On the day of the visit, Prof. Katsufumi Tajima of The Joint Research Center for Electric Architecture provided an overview of the laboratory, followed by demonstrations of the motor bench and the copper feather in Laboratory Room (1). The visit generated many insightful questions and provided an excellent opportunity for the participants to deepen their understanding of the laboratory’s activities and facilities.
