The award ceremony for Akita University’s Faculty and Graduate school of International Resource Sciences Logo Design Contest, which was held last year, took place at the Dean’s room at the Faculty and Graduate school of International Resource Sciences on Thursday, May 29th.
The logo, designed by Teruhiko Kawai (a second-year student at the Department of Earth Resource Engineering and Environmental Science at the Faculty of International Resource Sciences), who won the grand prize was presented with a certificate of commendation and a prize list by Professor Shibayama, the Dean at the Faculty and Graduate school of International Resource Sciences and Professor Inagaki, the Chairperson of PR Working Group.
He created the logo with hopes for the continued growth and development of the Faculty and Graduate school of International Resource Sciences. The logo is expected to be used in various ways moving forward.
