Resource Sciences Fieldwork Abroad Photo Contest 2025 was held

At Akita University’s Open Campus 2025 on Saturday July 19th, we had Resource Sciences Fieldwork Abroad Photo Contest 2025.
Among 37 works submitted by students, First Prize, Prize for the section (Landscape section and People section) and Prize for the course (Dept. of Resource Policy and Management, Dept. of Earth Resource Science and Dept. of Earth Resource Engineering and Environmental Science) were decided through a public vote.

Resource Sciences Fieldwork Abroad is a mandatory program for the third year under graduates at the Faculty of International Resource Sciences.
Students can have priceless experiences they cannot be obtained in university lectures alone through excursions to mines and visits to resource institutes and universities
